Kishlaya has over the last 14 years of its existence acquired a name for itself. The mission of Kashalaya Institute is:

• To run an institution for children with learning disability
• To run a model pre-primary school for slow learners
• To run a speech-therapy centre.
• To set up a computer training centre for children.
• To give special attention to the overall development of children encouraging their talent.
• To provide facilities for yoga, computer training, art & craft, classical music, dancing, textile designing, painting and other such activities.
• To make the children independent and self-supporting, as far as possible, so that they do not remain a liability to the Society.
